Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Students will be given a brief pre-assessment of their knowledge regarding their IEPs in a fun and engaging manner. Then through the use of mini-lessons (bell ringers) the students will build foundational knowledge and self-determination in the areas of self-awareness, disability awareness, postsecondary goals, and student led IEPs. During these mini-lessons students will discuss and collaborate with others on the various topics, while also learning the important communication skills associated with being an active participant in their IEP. At the conclusion of the sessions, student will take a quick post-assessment to see the benefit of their participation in the session.
